Philosophy and Approach
I believe the counseling space is unique in that it is a space dedicated entirely to you. I view each client as the expert of their own life, and my role is to provide a safe, empathetic, and supportive environment where you can share your story. My goal is to help foster greater self-understanding, self-compassion, and personal growth.

My practice is strength-based and rooted in narrative therapy. I draw from a variety of therapeutic approaches to meet the unique needs of each client, including play therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), family systems, and attachment-based approaches.

As a child and family therapist, I recognize the delicacy and complexity of working within family systems. Trust is a cornerstone of my therapeutic work, and I prioritize creating a safe, collaborative, and nonjudgmental space that supports healing and growth for both individuals and families.

Formal Education and Training

I earned my Bachelor of Science in Psychology and Family & Human Services from the University of Oregon and my Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from The Chicago School. I have experience working with children, adolescents, and families across a variety of settings, including residential treatment, in-home services, and the foster care system.

My clinical areas of focus include child development, family conflict, parent-child relational trauma, anger management, anxiety, depression, and navigating life transitions.
