Level 1 Certification in Restoration Therapy

Philosophy and Approach

I believe therapy should be a space where you can show up as your authentic self, be heard with empathy, and explore your next steps in a way that feels collaborative and empowering. It should be a place where you feel safe, hopeful, and validated. You are the expert on your life, and I want to honor that!

My approach is primarily person-centered, influenced by Attachment Theory, Restoration Therapy, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). I recognize that our experiences, particularly those from early relationships and environments, shape how we navigate the world today. I aim to create a space where you can explore these influences with curiosity and self-compassion, helping you make sense of them in a way that fosters healing and growth. Whether you're coming to therapy for anxiety, depression, loss, or any other challenge life has handed you, I will be a calm, warm presence, ready to walk alongside you at your pace and in a way that feels right for you.

Formal Education and Training

I am a graduate student in the Clinical Mental Health Counseling program at George Fox University and am on track to graduate in May 2026. I am working toward licensure as a Professional Counselor in Oregon. I previously earned my Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with a minor in Sociology from George Fox University. Additionally, I hold a Level 1 Certification in Restoration Therapy and integrate this perspective into my work when applicable.
