Philosophy and Approach

I believe therapy should be a space where you can show up as your authentic self, be met with empathy, and explore your life experience in a collaborative, empowering way. My goal is to offer a space where you feel safe, understood, and supported as you make sense of the emotions and patterns that shape who you are and how you move through the world.

My approach is primarily relational and psychodynamic, incorporating Attachment Theory and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) when helpful. I recognize that experiences, especially from early relationships and environments, shape how we navigate the world today. I aim to create a space where you can explore these influences with curiosity and self-compassion, helping you understand them in ways that support healing and growth. I also see the therapeutic relationship itself as a meaningful and transformative space, offering opportunities to experience connection, trust, and insight that can guide lasting change.

In our work together, I move at your pace, stay curious about the layers beneath your distress, and support you in understanding your emotional experience as an important guide. Whether you’re navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, relational concerns, or a sense of disconnection, we’ll explore your experiences with care and curiosity.
